Biotechnology is growing field and contributed a lot to the medical world. This technology uses the natural organisms as basic elements in producing efficient drugs for the treatment of the most dangerous diseases. Biotechnology has also natural and improved our foods.
The principle of agricultural biotechnology is not a new tradition. People are using different methods and different procedures to improve their crop and animal production. From selecting seeds from crops that increasing and leaving those that are unsuccessful, to selecting the best supply of farm animals to proliferate, mankind has been manufacturing their food and livestock to better suit their requirements. Modern agriculture uses the principle but in its place genetically modifies the crops to speed up the selection process.

With the initiation and amplify in importance of Biotechnology, it is of no revelation that it is being used in the agricultural site. In fundamental nature biotechnology makes a shortcut out of the ordinary selection procedure. It does this by means of genetic engineering to generate genetically better plants that are pliable to the chosen location. Genetically engineered crops can be nutritionally richer than their "normal" matching part, can have a longer shelf-life, be disease challenging and can also be engineered to make available pharmaceutical properties.
Biotech-derived plants are cautiously monitored by the United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The agencies constantly monitor the effects of these lately developed plants and animals on their ecosystems and human physical condition. The agencies can either approve or disapprove the use of certain changed foods. The United States Food and Drug Agency (FDA) also monitors for human health effects of these products for potential contaminated effects. The latent of genetically engineered plants is enormous. The thought of producing plants with improved nutritional remuneration or plants that are deficiency resistant is exciting.
